HOW HIGH THE MOON
Biography Continued

In 1996 Nigel and Guy featured as special guests to synth legend Klaus Schulze in Derby. Nigel and Guy have played many chill out sets at the top London club Whirlygig, one of which is represented by the track "Parachute Landings" on the 1997 album ‘NMJ Live with Guy Evans , Nik Turner and Friends’. The nineties saw NMJ’s music used on TV landscape films in the UK and abroad, a solo feature on the BBC Glastonbury documentary "Festival", appearances on Roy Harper's album ‘Once’ and guest appearances on Bob Geldof's UK tour. In 1997 BBC2 made a 15 minute feature on one of his songs ‘Planet for $ale’ By 2007 this had turned into a ferocious and trancy album featuring Steve Hillage, Guy Evans and Banco De Gaia with profits going to charities.

2000 saw the release of the acoustic album ‘Behind the Stone’ with all the songs fans had asked for through the nineties. From 1995 to now he has also renovated two barns which now serve as home and studio. Currently the new 6 and 12 guitar acoustic album is ongoing with selected solo and ensemble gigs being planned. His history proves his love of nature and this comes across strongly in his lyrics and instrumentals as does his refusal to be compromised and sidetracked from his overview of life which has never wavered summed up by ‘its one small planet we are all on and we rapidly need to get it together and look after it better’
